WATCH | Western Cape tabled a R250bn budget for 2024

CAPE TOWN – The Western Cape has now put forward its budget earlier this week.

Calling it a budget of action the WC Minister of Finance and Economic Opportunities, Mireille Wenger, said they plan to spend R242 billion over the three year Medium-Term Expenditure Framework.
She says 75% of the budget will benefit poor and vulnerable residents.

The Western Cape has had successes and it has the lowest unemployment rate in South Africa at around 21%.
